For crying out when are people going to get sick and tired of this abuse of our PDs. I mean isn't it time we become much more proactive and fix stuff before it gets broken instead of relying on the Police to clean up after our social failures?Just about every (not every) mass shooting is carried out by someone who is already known to be dangerous, most cop shootings are committed by people with long criminal histories as is most violent crime.
I think there are great solutions to much of this stuff, including immigration, but nobody is interested. It's like the damn drug war no one really wants to solve problems. Why? Because they can be milked for more and more money, power and bigger budgets next year.
I'm thinking health care runs this way too. Why not promote and reward healthy lifestyles as the foundation of our healthcare system? Why? Because pharma and the health care industry wouldn't need to be as costly, as powerful and as wealthy as it is.
We need proactive solutions not reaction like policing, prosecuting and jailing. That's the same old formula that solves nothing but creates massive expensive government expansion.
