In reality, they have no problem with many laws already on the books.
They are against do-nothing approaches like the failed and misnamed Assault Rifle Ban under Clinton in 1994 which was based solely upon cosmetic criteria. Biden's recent executive orders are meaningless. His "ghost gun" ban addresses a non-existent problem. You cannot legally manufacture nor purchase a firearm without a serial number that has been reported through ATF. All kits require such a component.
And now we're back to banning magazines with ten rounds or more. Such capability has been around since the late 1800s!

Regardless of color, criminals with guns who run away from police have greatly increased liklihood of a bad outcome.
