You're missing an important part of the equation. Yes, $7.25 earners are a low percentage, but you must include all earners who are making below $15/hr or $10 or $12 or wherever you think minimum wage should be. Then you've got a large percentage of the workforce that would be lifted by a minimum wage increase.
