I never liked Rodney Peete when he was at SC in the 80s; however, he was drafted not too high and played for over 15 years in the NFL bouncing around to a half dozen teams.
Darnold was pretty good in college, but didn't have the greatest team with a whole new receiving crew in his last year. Of course, the line and running game still isn't there. The D wasn't great either. Still, I always liked him as he made plays, is quite accurate and has the killer, winner instinct.
Basically, the Jets have sucked for quite a while. Whether Seattle is the place to go is a good question. He should move on somewhere and he's still young, just 23.
