a kidney stone!!!! It's been a crazy week with trips to the Urgent Care and Emergency Room resulting in surgery on Thursday and luckily they were able to get it out by laser blasting it! Unfortunately, this is my third stone in my life thus far... but it is going to be my LAST! I'm seeing a renal specialist that will figure out why I keep producing stones. This last one was 2 centimeters which is pretty damn big! I have heard that the pain is similar to childbirth... IF that is true, MAN do I have respect for women!!! I would NEVER have a baby if that was the case!!! In some ways the post-op is similar in pain to the stone itself which feels like someone took a dull knife and stuck it in you slowly. Once the surgery is over, it's painful and burning EVERY time you pee!!! Who knew they could get a garden hose UP such a small hole!!!! Hope NONE of YOU have to go through it!!! NOT fun!......
