This is what you see in the Third World countries

In Russia prostitutes are everywhere. There is officially no law against prostitution. As we all know, "there is no prostitution in communist countries", hence they forgot to write a law.

The most unfortunate fact - there are many VERY young ones. I once gave a ride to a young girl standing on the shoulder of a highway, it was cold, and she was lightly dressed. She looked like 14-15 year old, I thought she was going some place, hitching a ride. Instead she offered me oral sex... "Would you like to relax?". All for 200 rubles, which at then official exchange rate would be around $7.

They are in every bar, and they try to give you company, if you are a single man. I sometimes bought them drinks and deserts, they appreciated that, and we spoke. To them the biggest danger is not brutal maniacs, but the police. Cops have that habit of picking them up, taking them to the precinct, gang raping and beating them. There is name for that practice: "Subbotnik"... meaning something you do on Saturdays.

Like I said - just another sign that Russia still is a Third World country... no matter what you see in the Red Square.
