The two people in the front seats are apparently the "Churkas" - a Russian term similar to the n-word. As I mentioned earlier, they hate EVERYONE, and the Churkas are much despised, they are about the lowest form of life.

Their country produces only oil, gas, lumber and bombs. Their product no one will buy, except maybe the Mongols.

Their personal wealth is among the lowest in the world - about 100 places below the developed countries, on par with countries like Bolivia, it is 30-40 times lower, than in developed countries. Cheating is way of life there. You should never... ever... buy a used car from a Russian guy.

I imported a reel to reel tape deck from Russia. A Russian friend was doing all the arrangements, he knows the local habits, and he knew the seller... and we still got duped. The claimed NOS machine turned out to be used, and also even had botched repair done to it. The seller, when confronted regarding his lies simply responded: "OK, he doesn't need to buy it!" There was no shame and no apology.

Counterfeit goods are sold in most stores, so people learn the tricks of how to spot them.

Crime is rampant. Guns are illegal, but their murder rate is TWO TO THREE times that of the US. The courts are a joke, there are bribes everywhere.

There level of normal human decency is non-existent. When I went to pick up my mother's ashes, they did not have them prepared, so the guy simply offered me to put some random ones in the urn. "What difference does it make?"

The alcohol and drug abuse are incredible. Standard food is not exactly edible. I wanted to buy some sausage in a nice looking store fifty meters from Nevsky Prospect. The saleswoman, a nice lady, quietly told me: "You don't want to buy that one... go to the store across the street, you can find good one there" The locals know that and they have their ways of buying more or less acceptable food. The standard joke is - dogs will not eat that sausage.

On a Russian language forum there is thread: "Where do you get cheese?" People bring cheese from abroad, because you can only get horrible semi-artificial ones locally.

But they know how to manipulate the Useful Idiots... the KGB always had huge departments dedicated to that.

But don't listen to me... what do I know?
