I was shocked when they gave him a record-breaking deal last year, after two years in a row where he got injured and Nick Foles came in to save their season.
Wentz hasn't played consistently well since getting injured in 2017. He won a lot of games in 2017, but in 2018 they had a losing record until Foles came in and finished 3-0 and gave them a wild card win. I don't think he really established himself as the team leader either.
The problem is that they're kind of stuck with him because of his big contract. They'd probably have to pay somebody to take him off their hands.
