For others viewing here, all photo parameters get squelched on the internet -- a lot of pixel data is scrubbed off. The original pic has a lot more finesse to it than can be seen here.
I'm not much of a photog, but why? AFAIK, the web standard color space is sRGB, and that's what most decent monitors are calibrated for out of the box. So if you shoot in sRGB, there shouldn't be any loss aside from JPEG compression, which is under your control. If you shoot in Adobe RGB or some other wide gamut color space, then you can do the color space conversion to sRGB in software and tweak until you've got what you want. The result should render the same in a web browser. What am I missing?
