there was a nervous breakdown at my workplace once

I was having a meeting with a client, the front door and front parking lot visible in the windows in our conference room.
Ambulance pulls up, they pull out the rolling stretcher and wheel it in the front door. I am thinking oh shit, industrial accident (was a print shop).

I didnt' want to panic the customer so we kept on discussing their project. Wasn't long before I see the EMT pull the stretcher back out the front door and into the ambulance with the pressroom supervisor strapped down on the gurney!

I didn't see any horrible blood or bandages but didn't have time to look closely.

Later was told they found that supervisor sitting on the floor in the men's room, sobbing hysterically. A nervious breakdown they said.

Never saw him again and I left that business soon after.

Didn't suprise me, I almost got fired my very first day on that job,
just talking with the owner about why mistakes in printing happen. I should have quit on the spot...
