The NYC media dug into his background when they thought the Giants were going to draft him. His father treated him like a prodigy from a very young age, and from the 3rd grade on he groomed him as a football star in every way he could, even moving the family around multiple times so he could play on the most competitive teams. I suspect DH suffers from the same developmental problems that a lot of childhood celebrities do. Always being treated like you're the special one, always under your parents' wing, never facing any real adversity, missing out on childhood experiences that grow character. Now he's at a level where everyone is as talented as he is, but most are mentally tougher.
