That's great - you also remind me that my license expires in January 2021. Normally I spend the summer at home in Canada and would have renewed my license. But Covid stopped that. Fortunately, I have up three years after my license expires to renew. Otherwise, I would have to take the road and written test again.I may see if I can get my Driver's License in Hong Kong. I got my 10-year Canadian passport at the Canadian Embassy several years back. The DL may be more difficult because it is provincial and I am now a non-resident of Canada. I gave up my Canadian medical etc. Makes sense - I am no longer paying tax in Canada so I should not get the benefits of the Canadian system.
Glad to see that yours was so easy to obtain.
Might not be too bad of an idea for me to go through the driving test hassle when I get back to Canada - I have not driven a car since 2011 (I rented a car for a day since but ...)so I should probably get re-tested.
