The vaccine for Covid is 90-95% effective - which means it is 5-10% ineffective. If it works for you you can't get the virus.

If you apply math then you want everyone to take the vaccine just in case you are one of the 5-10% where the vaccine doesn't work.

If you are in a room with 9 people and no one takes it but you and you are in the 5-10% where it doesn't work - then you get it.

If those other 9 took it and it works for them - then even if it does not work for you you get to LIVE! Hooray.

Qantas is saying that you will have to show a card that proves you were vaccinated if you plan to fly internationally. Other airlines and other countries may demand it. Canada is noting they may apply it to domestic flights as well. So if you ever want a fly anywhere ever again you may have to get vaccinated.

I just wish they could make it in pill form. I hate needles. They don't hurt but I fall into the camp of people who get nauseous and lightheaded at getting the damn things. Just give me a pill. Perhaps the anti-vaxxers are just covering for needle phobia.
