Stock market increasingly detached from middle-class reality.

When one looks at overall wealth, bank deposits, land, etc. it's even far more concentrated.

Why people think CEOs, millionaires, and billionaires make good political candidates is beyond my comprehension. NONE of our great presidents was a great businessman, a magnate. Those men, in fact, were hated by our grandparents and stigmatized, for generations, as Robber Barons. It seems people tend to forget how the "Robber" part of that was earned.
