I don't rank any of them as great films just merely action diversions.

I do enjoy them when I am not in the mood to think during a movie too much.

I am watching You Only Live Twice as I type this - and I love that Toyota 2000GT

I grew up in the Roger Moore era and I think the first one I saw was the Spy Who Loved Me - which IMO is the best of the Moore movies. This one premiered Jaws. That was a hoot. (Carly Simon's Nobody Does it Better seemed fitting).

I largely felt the role was actor proof - it came down to the writing for me. I like at least one film from each of the actors.

Dalton I feel was ahead of his time of sorts. He played the role closer to the novels. People hated that. But they love Craig who to me is just playing Dalton but audiences were not ready for Dalton in the 80s.
