Tell all that to the citizens living in or near any of the city neighborhoods affected by the recent protest related violence, rioting or looting. In many areas the police were prohibited from protecting citizens and/or property or local government chose not to call in additional law enforcement or National Guard in order to maintain or reinstate order.Citizens, regardless of political affiliation are now purchasing guns for personal/family protection.
