RE: Anybody knowledgeable about the strength of Birch plywood?

the clickable link will give a good rule of thumb for different wood species

my concern would be the 'routed/glued into 2x4 columns' joints

anyway, depending on the span involved 3/4 birch has pretty decent deflection strength but you need to account for the 'landing' of the distributed load on the surface so the amp width is important

are there pix of the rack handy?
