Definitely not glass-packs...

...I've had many of those over the years--mainly on large-displacement American V-8s, and they sounded great.

The "fart-cans" are mainly found on small-displacement (often turbo'd) "rice-rods" (Japanese wanna-be street racers). They are just annoying, with a hollow, metallic, resonance to them.

There are plenty of "good" performance exhaust systems (Borla, Flowmaster, Tubi, etc.) that don't grate on your last nerve--they're actually tuned for performance, rather than noise-level.

My 360 actually has a complete Tubi exhaust system on it (the original owner had it installed at the dealer before he even took delivery of the car). It came with the entire factory system if I want to re-install it, at any point. The Tubi system is a little louder than stock, but not excessively so, and you gain ~10% in hp. Can't say that I'd have been willing to pay the $4K to have it installed on a brand new car just to gain 40 hp, but, then again, I buy my Ferraris used, not new.

"And today is for sale and it's all you can afford. Buy your own admission. The whole things got you bored. Well the Lord chooses the good ones, and the bad ones use the Lord"--a very dear friend for decades Michael Stanley (Gee)--RIP
