"Moranis, 67, was walking south on Central Park West near West 70th Street - steps from his apartment building - around 7:30 a.m. Thursday when a thug suddenly clocked him in the head, knocking him to the ground, police said.
The unprovoked attack was also caught on surveillance video, previously released by police. In it, the suspect can be seen slugging Moranis before calmly walking off."
