Have you considered working on a contract basis? I had an S-corp and did it for 30 years. One brief time, I had a contract that was delayed and I sent a project history to an IT contracting head hunting firm that included the tool sets I have used. I had calls for over 10 years from that one posting that all responded to the technologies that I was familiar with. I was also picky, I initially only took jobs that I only did the integration on-site. The last 10 years or so, I only took jobs where I didn't have to be on site at all. Most of my customers I never met in person.
