Added two weeks?

Welcome to the club. When we started our shop remodel, we found bees if you recall, that cost us a week. Then, we decided to tear down the old tag on, ledger roof and tie it into the old garage/office roof line and tore off a third of that roof to sister in new rafters.

We're three weeks past what we planned to do at the beginning. Now, we'll probably redo most of the fascia on the whole building and re-roof the whole enchilada. Then, we'll get back to doing what we planned for the shop.

Here is where the bees were, in the eves above the ledger addon roof.

We took off the entire shop roof and tied it into the garage roof. Of course, the old rafters got used for blocks. We're so cheap.

Here is the new roof inside with T&G instead of chip board.

You can see where the old ledger board was hung. And yes, Virgina, we will fill those holes.

Finally, here's the new roof line that worked out great. I feared that we'd have to notch the new rafters and pad up the wall on the outside, but we got real lucky. Or not, all I wanted to do was close in the front of the shop and get rid of that old ugly gate.
