Normally, maybe 20th of that if raced? Some rebuild them after every race but I think that crazy. I figured a rebuild every few 1000 miles but there has never been a need. One thing the racers do and I have ranted about this for years...they run their oil lean like 40-50 to 1. That is crazy.I have many studies and dyno charts that show up to a point more oil always makes more power (and smoke). Too little oil will seize an engine and make LESS power, too much oil will foul a plug. I'd prefer not to seize an engine for less power. :)I run "Ting Ting" at 20 to 1 with synthetic oil. Most think I'm crazy but she never fouls a plug and did I mention she has 12K on her? :) Piston and rings every few enduros might be normal for a racer? Ting Ting has had none of that nor a clutch. I rebuilt the back shock a couple years ago. I worried when I bought her because she was expensive, hand built in Spain and I had no idea if it would last. I got my money's worth and I can go out there and kick her about 3-5 times and she'll fire up.
As easy to ride slow and as a TW but with more power, twice as expensive and both are fun. I'm not a bike snob. :)
We never pruned our tree. Are you supposed to do that? We also have more than we can deal with this year. Our tree is 15 years old and was abused, not by us. Was barely 7 feet tall in a bucket 4 years ago. We planted it next to the Koi pond. Roots finally got in there we reckon. Damn thing is enormous now.
!2 years in a bucket and now maybe 15-20 feet tall and 10 feet across. Seems to like koi water.
