True....but the STUFF you can get at the stores!
Half a ton of Chromed Shit for your bike.
Colorful bags and little feathery things for your handlebar ends.
Half a dozen differnt kinds of seats, some of 'em Hemroid Proof.
Than we go to the T-Shirt isle. All sorts of ugly stuff THERE. My brother had the same T-Shirt from about a DOZEN dealers....all named ON the shirt.
Need a Tachometer? Tires? Battery or 'adjustment'?

One thing's for sure? Dealer base is SHRINKING. I was in one a couple years ago with my HD riding brother. OVER 1/2 the bikes on the large floor were USED. Fairly low average mileage.

If I thought I needed some urban transpo or a bike to take camping? One of THESE. Go nearly anywhere. NOT fast. Good economy and has been in production for maybe 20 years. Reliable and you could teach the wife to drive it. Plenty of USEFUL aftermarket stuff, too.
