I am not sure what you mean by dynamic - I enjoyed part of my 2 years living and working in South Korea.

I would not trust their business ethics for a second. I worked at 2 private schools. The owner of one had two books - one for the tax man and one for himself - he paid on time (in Cash which was funny) at the end of the month. So unlike many he did actually pay on time and at the amount agreed.

The second school owner was funny - he had photos of himself shaking hands with white people in business suits - and names his school Canada International School. This would imply that he had agreements in place. He did not. His school wasn't Internationally accredited.

He never paid bills. What he did was order lots and lots and lots of supplies from office supply outfits and send these companies partial payments - enough to not have them file a lawsuit. Then after several years of nonpayment and tiny fractions of payment - he'd close down and reopen with a new name for the school.

I belonged to an international known running club called the HASH House Harriers - there is a club in most major cities around the world. Their motto is "A Drinking Club with a Running Problem"

Most of the people I met who were teachers all told similar stories. The consensus of those that taught in Japan was that it was better to teach in Japan.

After traveling to Fukuoka and Tokyo (in January 2020) I greatly prefer Japan in every conceivable way. Cleaner (MUCH MUCH Cleaner) and Japanese Women are a cut above. It's not all plastic surgery driven as it is in South Korea.

And the funny part is that Korean food in Japan is better as well!!
