All one has to do to refute the seasonality argument is look at the top ten countries in daily new cases right now:
1. USA (in summer)
2. India (in summer)
3. Brazil (equatorial)
4. South Africa (in winter)
5. Mexico (in summer)
6. Colombia (equatorial)
7. Russia (in summer)
8. Argentina (in winter)
9. Peru (equatorial)
10. Saudi Arabia (in summer)
And all the countries above that are in the summer season are seeing more cases in the summer than they had in the spring.
