Last I checked, Delta and Jet Blue were the only major airlines who were keeping middle seats empty. American, United, and Spirit are booking up to full capacity. The others are somewhere in the middle ground. Some are trying to entice customers to pay extra to have an empty seat next to them.
Mask wearing is not universal either.
My brother manages food service for an all-inclusive resort in the USVI. They just re-opened July 1. According to him, guests are complaining about full planes and a good number of people refusing to wear masks with phony excuses. They were down to zero cases on the island in early June, and now they have a little spike.
A daughter of a friend just left for Disney World this week (Thursday I think). She also reported a fairly full plane with some people not wearing masks. Disney is operating at 25% capacity.
This is nothing new. Even back in April, social media was full of pictures and reports from flights where airlines weren't following their own stated policies about capacity limits and masks.
