I would say yes, and on top of that, the team forfeits any games they were scheduled to play during the quarantine period. That would give everyone involved with a team some serious motivation to take every precaution possible. It would make winning depend as much on how the team and the school handles COVID-19 preparedness as the on-field play. Imagine schools competing to be the most virus free, rather than just letting students do what they will until they all have to be sent home again.
I realize there's no way that will ever happen, but it's an interesting thought experiment.
