Friday was my wife's birthday. The last few months have been tough with working full time plus watching the kids, so I wanted to splurge a little on something she's been wanting for some time: an outdoor TV. And of course, anything good is sold out.

My daughter outgrew her old bike and needed a new one this year. Fortunately, we ordered it right before the pandemic hit.

We found a new carpenter ant infestation in our hot tub a month or so ago. When I pulled the sides off I saw the frame was rotted badly enough that it doesn't look structurally sound. So we looked at whether we could get one this year, and the answer was November at the earliest.

But on the other hand, there doesn't seem to be any shortage of audio equipment.
