That's why I loved Superman II - the end of that film was about using his brain to trick them - no powers to win the day. But that was back in the day.
I have struggled to like any of the last superhero movies. I did enjoy both Deadpool films because they basically make fun of superhero movies. But they're rated a strong R so it's a different sort of breed.
I'd also rate Spiderman II quite highly due to the writing and strong performance by Alfred Molina.
And Wonder Woman - Gal Gadot is easy on the eyes and that's worth a mild thumbs up.
I also watched the new Harley Quinn Animated series and those have been a blast but like Deadpool rated R and not for the kids.
A good TV show is called The Boys - where the heroes are take-offs of Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman but these heroes are all corporate owned so they are good so long as they get good ratings. If someone dies on their watch - meh - they could care less. It too is rated R.
