After watching some of these super hero films over the years I can't think of a single one of them that I find myself whistling to.I remember seeing those Superman films in the 1980s and those scores were fun.
Take Ken Thorne's Superman II - based upon John Williams original.
Where are these big grandiose scores in modern movies - they have all the special effects but they all seem to lack that rounded movie going epic experience of those original Superman movies (I and II).
I can understand why some think Superman II was superior to the original - the film and the score.
