Other than keeping certain individuals on a tight leash because of past history e.g. Inmate51, I don't see much of a pattern.It seems like every couple of days I see a thread or sub-thread go out of control into politics and not get cleaned up. For example, most threads related to protests and BLM have been left alone, and several of them have gotten nasty, most recently this one.
On the other hand, I've seen some barely political posts get deleted in a hurry, before they can even go anywhere. One of them surprised me enough that I thought it might be a forum bug and posted about it.
And you know, you've been making a lot of political posts here yourself!
