Which is more important to buyers, final assembly location or parts content by value?

I ask because the cars.com list only includes models where final assembly is done in the US. That excludes vehicles with high levels of domestic parts content, but where final assembly is done somewhere else. See below for a more complete list. The Dodge Grand Caravan is at the top of the list ranked by US/Canadian parts content, but it doesn't make the cars.com list because final assembly is in China.
