My wife likes West Coast IPAs a lot more than I do, but this is one we both enjoy. I absolutely love the aroma of citrus, pine, and fruit, and I typically relish the first few sips. But the finish is typical West Coast with lingering bitterness. Depending on the state of my palate and the age of the can, that bitter finish can sometimes turn metallic. That prevents it from becoming one of my personal favorites, but it is probably my favorite out of that style.

This is also a beer that tastes best fresh, so I try to buy from stores that turn over stock quickly.
