That would seem to be an important consideration -- at least for folks like Mrs. H and me. Our strategy when acquiring a new car is 10 years or 200k miles -- or more if the car is up for it.
Mrs. H's previous hybrid Escape did 11 years and 246k with no (NO) non-routine maintenance/repairs. It did succumb to rust, though.
Her current 2016 CR-V is at 81k miles and doin' pretty well so far. It has just had some brake issues (seized rear calipers) but I suspect that is COVID-19-related (i.e., the dang car sat too much early this spring and the brakes stuck).
