My criticism was that in the context of a lawsuit against China regarding actions leading up to the spread of Covid-19 into the United States (the context of fantja's post), you held Americans (the "YOU" that you used) responsible while not even mentioning the possibility that China might have culpability. (In your post to which I responded to, you went on and on describing things done by the "YOU" (Americans), Nixon, Reagan, AMERICAN COMPANIES run by Americans, as historical events leading up to the Covid-19 situation in the United States, but glaringly failing to say anything regarding any culpability that China may have, from which I concluded that, in effect, you were absolving China/giving them a pass. You later clarified your stance on China in a subsequent post and I thanked you for making that clear.) The discussion was about China's actions leading up to the spread of Covid-19 into the United States. - P L A I N and S I M P L E

But, you continued with the blaming of the "YOU" (Americans) and in subsequent posts, continued to expound on this point. But, that was not enough. You then expanded to introduce the "Trump straw man" into your rant/diatribe, and in the process, tried to bait me with statements like "Do you actually watch Trump? Do you listen to what the man says? Or do you just spend time on here posting a defense of him here?
So you want to blame China but 100% absolve Trump right? Yes or no? Do you not THINK that what he says influences people to act. ..."

(BTW, I never defended Trump or said anything pro-Trump in any of my posts in this thread and my only mention of Trump was when I quoted you. You, on the other hand, mentioned Trump 15 times in this thread.)

So you bringing up Trump is just a straw man argument, you trying to lead me down that rabbit hole. Sorry. Not gonna take the bait.

Then you introduce another straw man fallacy/argument as well as an ad hominem fallacy/argument with your statement "God you're an Idiot. (Except there is no God - Idiots believe in God.)", further trying to bait me. You appear to be angry that I'm unwilling to engage in your straw man argument or the fallacy of you arguing against something that I never said. Anger to the point of an ad hominem attack. That's rather sad, but I'm not going to engage in your fallacy arguments to get me to defend something that I never stated or even suggested, something that you insist on projecting onto me. Like I said, it's rather sad.

Do you not see that you have a habit of turning a discussion that is not about Trump into one that focuses on Trump?

This preoccupation with Trump is comical (pathological? Oh, I can't go there. I'm not a Doctor. LOL).
