I read what you may call MSM, the NYT/Wapo, watch BBC, CNN International, CNN. I'm aware some of CNN's shows are slanted - I avoid the worst of that, like Don Lemon's show - but the straight news from their reporters is reliable IMO. CNN International is just plain excellent. I didn't forget who took on lying power and investigated Watergate and published the Pentagon Papers. I care a lot less about slant than I do about outright lying and bullshit propagating, which Murdoch's media exemplify on a regular basis.

Regarding this virus I listen to/read what medical/scientific experts have to say as well as governors/mayors/docs/nurses/hospital workers who see it up close and deal with it all day every day. I trust what I hear from them a helluva lot more than the current administration or partisans on either side in Congress.
