I have had two minimally invasive back surgeries. I injured my back in '89 and I suffered with back pain for decades with at least two episodes a year where I could not walk for at least two days. In 2015 I did something to make it even worse if you can imagine. My doctor recommended an orthopedic surgeon who after several tests, of course, recommended surgery. Long story short things got so bad I finally went for the surgery and my doctor performed a dicectomy. I was in at 5am and home by noon and walked, gingerly, from the car to the house. Things were fine, I had a new lease on life until about two years later it happened again on the disk above the first one, again in at 5 out at noon and walked into the house. I suffered some nerve damage in my left leg the second time but with TP and exorcise I am at about 80-90%. Best of all no more excruciating pain or days spent crawling around the house because I can't walk. It seems they have made some major advancements in back surgery. I swim for exorcise.
