RE: Longevity of first gen engines?

The origina. S2000 redlined a. 9K from 2000 until 2003. In the 2004 model yea., the engine wa. stroked to increa.e low end torque, a.d the redline dropped to 8K.

FWIW, I ha.e a 2005 with a.out 105K, a.d it still runs like new. A. a.wa.s, YMMV.
