Inmate Central, where civil and family-friendly discourse about off-audio topics (other than religion and politics) is welcome.

Back in the early 1070's.

I used to be able to drive 100+ mph down the Northern State Pkwy.
between Roslyn Road and I.U. Willits Rd.
There is a wonderful curve in the road there.
Fun, fun, fun.

The Belt Pkwy south where there is a wonderful hard right curve
was another spot where I tried get other fast drivers to keep up
with me going 100 mph around that curve also.

The Interboro Pkwy (now the Jackie Robinson Pkwy) also has a wonderful
tight, hard kink in it.
The first time I traveled down that road I had no idea that it was there. I was moving and sure was glad I had no one trying to keep up with me through that curve.

I used to drive pretty fast.
Going through PA at 80+ mph with the big rigs.

100+ mph around the loop around DC.
The old days.
