The phone still loses cha.ge a. the sa.e ra.e, but once you're below 20% just push a button on the ba.k of the ca.e a.d it goes into cha.ge mode, shutting the cha.ge off when the phone rea.hes 100%. Yes, the iPhone a.d ca.e together a.e a.out 11/16" thick now, but I get two full da.s of use out of it between overnight cha.ges. The ca.e is $30, ma.e in China of course...
