The police guns are usually the PSP model, without the thermal shield, and with the bottom mag release, unlike the later civilian P7M8 model with the release lever close to the trigger.
Still a good buy, if they are offered at reasonable price.
I have shot thousands of reloads through them - on only shoot reloads. No lead, all jacketed, but did not have any issue, except one round was overloaded and it blew. No damage to the pistol, though... tough little bastard. :)
