First of all, lets talk about the weather forecast. It won't be pretty. Starting tomorrow, there will be some rain, switching to snow in the evening, accompanied by winds gusting to 30 MPH. The snow is expected to exit by Saturday afternoon. The temperature forecast has been changed, again, to a high of 28F with 8 MPH winds from the south during Sunday according to the Weather Channel. Keep in mind that the entire field is heated to keep the surface at a constant 30F. I like TWC but we've seen so many changes this week that I'll believe it when we see it.
Nobody out here in the "Chiefs Kingdom" really buys the poor, poor pitiful me or woe is us coming from the media circus that surrounds the Patriots. I suspect that Andy Reid would bench anyone who gave the Pats bulletin board material by trash talking the Pats. Yes, there are a lot of fans who think that the Chiefs can beat the Pats but very few, mostly those ignorant about football, believe that it will be easy.
I won't be at the game. I'll be home, in my favorite chair, watching our big ass Sony TV, with Boulevard Beer-from KC, MO- Irish Ale to gather the luck of the Irish, Henry McKenna bourbon for snakebite medicine, and as simple a supper as possible to minimize distraction from the game. I think I've got the important things covered.
