As a long suffering Chiefs fan, I've seen a lot more bad football than any inmate should have been exposed to. However, yesterday's game was the most complete game I've watched this year. While the KC Star rated every aspect of their efforts but special teams play as an A grade, some of the players tried to downgrade the results by saying that they hadn't played their best game. I was particularly surprised by the defense that had been expected to fall down like a house of cards in a Kansas tornado.
So the Pats are coming to town and I'm sure that a few of my relatives back in MA will call or text with inquiries about a small wager. If the Chiefs play as well or better than they did yesterday, the Chiefs can win. I'm not saying that they will win because it will take a mighty effort to beat the Pats even if the Chiefs have the home field advantage. I think I'll put my phone in airplane mode around 530PM CST next Sunday.
