Don't forget that back in April 2018 former Speaker of the House John Boehner joined the Board of Directors of Acreage Holdings, a company oriented towards legalizing marijuana. What the Hell, he was already known for having a cigarette in one hand and a glass of wine in the other so switching it over to a joint wouldn't be that big a change in his image.
