The JD master distiller gave a talk at an event sponsored by a NKC, MO liquor store a couple months ago. Jeff Arnett was both thoroughly knowledgeable and entertaining. Small samples of the different JD products were provided for all the guests. I estimate that there were just over one hundred people attending so some serious coin was dropped to give everyone a taste. While I'm not a JD fan, I do admit that their single barrel and cask strength whiskies are pretty tasty.
