The pain has a way of motivation.

I couldn't understand why I was pushed out the doors on Tuesdays, probably due to the oxycodone on the menu. However, the difficulty in getting into and out of bed and the subsequent pain from making wrong moves made me quickly focus on retaining what worked and what needed to be remedied. I've gotten much better in the past 24 hours. I also went into a fast vacation from alcohol consumption until I can ditch the oxy. That's a bummer because I finally managed to score some hard to find and a pleasure to enjoy bottles from Buffalo Trace and Heaven Hill distilleries. Do the names Elmer T Lee, Weller 12, and Heaven Hill 6YR BiB sound familiar?

The PT guy that visited told me that I was going to learn to hate him as long as I did my exercises. Further more, he said it would get worse before it got better. He's right but now that it's a different set of muscles and tendons that hurt today, I may have to consider giving him some slack.

I have a friend who lives across the river that the replacement surgery done on a voluntary and scheduled basis that told me I could work my way through most of this in three weeks as he did. Two weeks to prove him right.
