They didn't get some of the DNA right. After doctoring our DNA, they should have crossed us with dogs. That would have worked out better - unconditional devotion and an unprecedented will to please for a bit of food and shelter.
Humans suck as slaves. They still bitch about what happened to distant relatives that they never met like it happened to them.
Dogs would forget and forgive in 5 minutes for a treat. Dogs have better attitudes than people. They live in the moment rather than the past. They can get a little over passionate about the present. Mine want to kill the FedEx guy on the spot for being on "their property". Nothing's perfect, but IMO dogs may be Gods finest creation as far as attitude is concerned.
