Saints winning the Super Bowl didn't erase Katrina, and the Astros winning won't change any of the misery felt in Houston this year, but it might help people's spirits a little.
Both teams are very deserving. It's not going to ruin my day either way. I tend to pull for the team with no championship wins when I don't have a horse in the race.
I spent a lot of time over a long career in oil and gas working in and with people in Houston. I have friends that suffered both from the flood and in the industry. They deserve a little bit of joy if it can be in the cards.
