RE: anyone have smart meters for electricity?

Cost of my service didn't go up. The electric company saves the cost of the meter reader. They've also set the stage for charging you differently in the future though. Now they know not only how much you use, but when. They'd love to charge you different rates depending on what time of day you use yer juice. They may get there one day and now they have meters smart enough to back up their billing processes.
