What we have is not epoxy grout. It's something else. Epoxy grout has been available for many years. The newer improved grouts are also harder to work with per our installers, but they did it well. We paid extra, but it was well worth it to have it still looking new. We are thinking about having our master bath redone (justthe grout). The beige grout is much darker in some areas and my wife is bothered by it and the fact that I can't really fix it.
They have a little hand tool that scrapes some of the grout out. It's a lot of work. Then they can re-grout with the new improved stuff. I'm sure if you google grout, you will find info on the newer options.
